How to grow your brows

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post. I hope everyone had a great relaxing weekend. So you want to know how to get thicker brows or at least get your brows growing! I just want to say whatever I state is what I did and it has worked for me and I noticed a change. So I’d be telling you how to came up with my theory and then get into the steps to achieving thicker longer growing brows.

Background to theory

So a couple years back when I started my program in becoming a esthetician we was starting to learn waxing. Now I loved waxing everyone else but my brows lol. I honestly hardly had any brows this was just natural genetic. I felt like there wasn’t much I can do with them. If I tried and shape them I just might lose to much hair. I still did wax them here and there I had no choice. I did end up liking the end results because it was much easier for me to fill in my brows.

Gaining Growth

So the trick I realized to gain the growth I wanted was one waxing and the second trick I was always doing was brushing my brows. Yup lol just simply brushing my brows everyday. This trick worked because your then stimulate growth. Also because I had to get them waxed that also played a part by allowing the growth to be fuller too. So doing these two things allowed growth and fullness.

Brow Hack

Oils for growth

There is also various oils out there that help with hair growth. For extra blood stimulation you can add oils onto your eyebrow brush. Doing this everyday or every other day will increase more growth. You can also apply it anywhere else you are trying to increase hair growth.

  • Rosemary Oil
  • Cedar wood Oil
  • Lemongrass Oil
  • Thyme Oil
  • Clary Sage Oil
  • Tea Tree Oil

And there you have it! A list of great essential oils for growth. I have used a few of these and I must say I love them. And now you can go and get those brows to fullness. Netflix Movies to watch on Valentines Day

Hey everyone, happy Valentine’s Day! And those who don’t celebrate happy Friday. I hope everyone is having a great week so far. This week has not been my greatest, it has been tiring and I cannot wait for the weekend. Me and my husband hate the Valentine’s Day crowd every year so we are actually going out on Sunday. So for today’s post, for a night in here are my Netflix movies for Valentine’s Day. I love these movies and can watch them over and over and also the ones my husband can tolerate lol. On the go 5 – 15 Min Beauty Routine

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post. I hope everyone is had a great weekend. For today’s blog post I wanted to do my beauty routine. And I thought of to post my 5 -15 min beauty routines. This is a great post for those beauty college students or even moms like me that is on the go. Now since becoming a second time mom I have absolutely no time to put on make up.

For example the other day I actually had to ask myself “do I even know how to apply makeup still?”. Yeah it’s that bad, I miss those times. I see all these social influence’s moms looking fab and I need their secrets on how. But then again have to remind myself it’s all a lie! LOL not realistic at all. Now when I am in a rush I need to at least do these steps!

Concealer

Now since am a busy mom of two, I have no time to even perfect foundation anymore and do a whole beauty routine, so concealer has become a back up. I actually do not have bad skin at all so I always use concealer and do quick touch ups on my face. My skin looks great and it still can breath throughout the day. Now for this trick you’d need a great coverage concealer.

For some odd reason I never before was brow obsessed. Now I have to at least do my brows if am going out. If I don’t get to apply concealer this has to be at least done. I feel like doing brows just frames a girls face and hides everything else. This I always try and get done when I am in a huge rush to go out. And sadly I always feel like am in a rush.

Lipstick or Gloss

Okay, every girl has at least this on. Even if I don’t got my lipstick on I have to have my Rihanna fenty gloss. To be honest lately I haven’t been wearing lipstick. And I don’t know if it has to do with me not putting on a full face anymore. But I’ve haven’t touched any lipstick for awhile. I have tried sometimes putting some on and I always end up taking it off . I love using the Fenty gloss though because I love how clear and simple yet tinted it is. It gives a beautiful finish and it actually keeps my lips moisturized.

Lashes

So basically if concealer is out of my timing I always almost always have to have my lashes. Honestly if I had to name my top two I can’t leave the house without doing it would be lashes and brows. Anyways before I was into lashes but I love wearing them most of the time now. I love how much they bring out my eyes without having to wear a full face or even eyeshadow. I have them last long which keeps me from spending so much money on buying them.

My Winter Skincare – Top Tips

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog. Happy Monday! I am so happy it’s finally holiday break for my oldest. And it’s even more insane that Christmas is literally this week. I had a list of Christmas posts lined up and am going to try and get them out before Christmas or at least before December is over. For today’s post I’ll be talking about my winter skincare tips. This winter has been brutal …least for me. And trust me if you follow these tips your skin will love you!

Tip 1: Hydration

One thing I learned that’s one of the most important steps to skincare is hydration. Yes, even if your an oily skin type you still need hydration. If you lack the hydration this can actually cause your skin then to produce more oils. With this issue it can cause you to even look more oily. When you keep up with your hydration your skin can then become e balanced and you’ll have less problems. In the winter because its so cold our skin demands more hydration. You are going to want to as much as possible with the right moisturizer for your face hydrate your face morning and night.

Tip 2: Sunscreen

Believe or not but yes even in the winter you need sunscreen. Trust me in my beginnings as an anesthetic in school I didn’t want to believe this rule. But every season you need sunscreen to protect your skin from the rays. This is because the sun reflects off the snow and can then affect your skin. Sunscreen should be applied in the mornings before you leave your house. I suggest a few minutes before leaving so that it takes a while to sink into your skin. It’s also good to apply throughout the day as needed. Keep this tip up and it will make a big long term difference in your skin.

Tip 3: Water Intake

This last tip kinda goes hand and hand with the first. The more water we drink the more our skin will be hydrated. I feel like this will help or skin stay clear and make a huge impact in the feel and look of our skin. Also the more water we drink while staying on a daily regimen will help our skin stay perfect majority of the time. I am not going to lie it’s so hard for me to drink water. And when I do and I am doing great for awhile I always fall off and am back on my sugary drinks. Luckily I barely break out and I have pretty clear skin already but I do get dry skin. And I know it would make a huge impact in helping my skin if I just drink water. Not only does it keep your skin clear and plump but also it will help your hair and cleanse your system from toxins.

3 Things that get me in the Christmas spirit

Hey everyone, welcome back to another post. Finally I am getting a Christmas related post up. I am feeling the Christmas spirit these days ! And now I my post you will get to know the three things that get me in this mood. Now before I start I am so happy I got to get a post up this week. Also I know my normal post days are Monday’s and Thursdays but lately I’ve been way off my posting schedules. And because of that don’t just lookout for those post days but just know I will at least put out a post once a week. Or well at least try to that’s my goal.

Music

Who doesn’t enjoy Christmas music? I know my husband doesn’t as much so I know their is quite a few of people who don’t. But that’s gets me in the spirt for the end of November. I swear as soon as it’s November am ready for those Christmas songs. Although their quite repetitive I never ever get tired of hearing Christmas music. I love putting it on through out the day while I clean and get things done and I always love letting it play while I put my girls to sleep at night. I can tell you now am for sure going to miss those jingles once December is over.

Lights

Lights are another way of feeling good! From ever since I was a kid I love seeing those Christmas lights up. I must say it’s enjoyable while driving throughout Toronto especially downtown also. I love seeing the different colors and decorating ideas each house has. My oldest loves seeing all the different lights while we are out and about. This gets me in a great mood.

Giving

Now I know for some the downside to Christmas is spending. Trust me it hurts my pockets by November knowing the amount of money I’ll be losing or the possibility of even using credit cards around that times hurt my head. But I love the feeling around this time of giving. I already love the joys of shopping and I love it more giving to family and buying for my two girls. I feel it’s even more exciting at this age when their kids. I always try to remember to take in this time as much as possible when their this small because before you know it they will be teenagers.
