Coco Cabana Cream

Coco Cabana Review

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post! Happy Monday  I hope everyone had a great weekend mine was decently pleasant. For today’s blog post I wanted to do a review for Sol De Janeiro coco cabana cream.

I recently got the sample product in my Ipsy August bag along with other sample products. I have bought the Bum Bum Cream, I believe I have done a review on it you can find it HERE. I have not even thought to try this product because I am loving the scent of the Bum Bum Cream so I was excited to try this one out. And I honestly wish I have decided to try this out sooner! I am absolutely in love with this coco cabana cream scent, I am starting to believe this is my all time favorite scent now.

Coco Cabana Cream

The coco cabana cream is oil in water body cream that instantly hydrates. This product is for all skin types and the main concerns this product supports is dryness, dullness and uneven texture. If you are wondering what the scent type is for the coco cabana cream it is a warm and sweet scent. The key ingredients highlighted in the product are coconut oil, coco sugar and cupuacu butter. One thing I always do before buying any skin related product for my skin is to check is it made for my skin type and what skin concerns is the product helping and would it help me. I always try to avoid buying anything skin products that don’t help my skin type or my needs. It honestly is a waste of money for me because it will go against my skin and because it wasn’t made for it. I also abide by this for my make up purchases also.

I am literally going to buy a bigger size of this product and also get the body mist along with it. This will most likely be my go to scent for awhile. I honestly don’t think am going to get sold on another scent. This has definitely beat the Bum Bum Cream, I love the scent also but it’s something I wouldn’t apply daily because I’d probably after awhile get sick of the scent. But this coconut scent is something I can live for I guess am a warm sweet type of girl.

coco cabana creamWhat are some of your favorite scents? Or are you more prone like me to just sniff around until you come across a scent you love? I guess since I am sold and hooked on the scent I am more a warm sweet scent. I recently came across online on Sol De Janeioro page where they said they have came out with a slightly different scent. I was confused because I dont know if it is the new scent I have or I haven’t smelled that yet. But I am going to purchase the body mist and medium sized bottle of the cream. You can find that HERE from your local sephora.  Thank you all for reading, I hope you all enjoyed! I will be getting a laptop soon, most likely by September. And I will then be back on my blog schedule as usual. See you all in my next post!

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post. I hope everyone had a great weekend and Father’s Day, my weekend was great and somewhat relaxing. For today’s blog post I wanted to do a review on how I feel about Milk Makeup hydro grip primer. I got a good feel on it and got time to gather my thoughts about this product. And wanted to share just in case anyone looking to try it out.

So I purchased this primer not to long ago, I was looking to try out a new primer. For a good two to three years now I’ve been using the becca matte primer and I’ve stuck to it. And I wanted to look for a primer that can hold my makeup, not make my face look or feel dry. The becca primer is matte but sadly it leaves a white consistency on my face. I wanted to try the hydro primer, at first I was unsure about it because how the consistency looked. And it looked like it would leave a sticky feeling afterwards but I decided to give it a try. I needed a primer and I had no second choice t to be honest lol. You can find the product here on sephora.

The hydro grip primer is a hydrating gripping primer. This product carries cannabis seed extract and blue agave extract for all day hydration. One of the things I love about the product is it has aloe water in it. And it blends clear to work with all skin types. For product to work best is to apply product over clean skin. Pump one to two shots apply product and let sit for one minute to activate grip. You can also wear this primer alone if you just want an no make up day. After using this product it does what it says my face felt 100% hydrated. I did not get a sticky greasy feeling after application even a few minutes after applying the product. And a little goes a long way with this product, which is a bonus.

After applying my foundation on it blended well with no issues my foundation looked smooth and blended. . The only thing I didn’t get to test was the length of time it holds up. I didn’t have my foundation on long enough to see how my foundation looked hours later. But I cant honestly talk about that and give results because we all have different skin types. And how my make up may look hours later yours may look different. so it all varies. My skin is only oily in my T zone and chin so usually hours later it gets oily. But hopefully this product helps with that issue.

If I had to rate this product out of 10 id give a 7, just because I still need to wear the product more and get more of a feel out of it. And wear it for a good couple of hours and see how my foundation holds up. But overall I love the product it was worth the buy and I honestly cant complain. If any of you have tried it what are your thoughts? Or is anyone going to try it out? Let me know in the comments. I always love to hear from you all, and ill talk to you all in the next blog!

June Goals

Hey everyone, and welcome back to another blog post. Happy Wednesday! I hope you all are having a great week. It’s the 5th of June and I am just now writing my June goals for the month, I have realized that I probably won’t have high expectations this month because of a lot going on. This month I am doing a lot of packing because I am getting ready to move, I am super excited for this move I am so ready to be leaving my apartment. I am ready to start a new chapter in my family life, also after this move I will be putting up more content and be even more consistent with my blog.

One of my goals are to consistently at least on my social media platforms. Especially Twitter and Instagram I want to increase my followings, be more engaging with my followers because before increasing numbers I at least want connections with my followers. My second goal is pretty similar to the first, I want to continue to improve my content with Instagram. I am always trying to put up the best quality of pictures on my instagram; one thing I believe in is if you don’t put out the best or least quality it can always lead to lack of following and engagement. I am always hearing this consistently when doing my research on social media containing being a blogger. My third and last goal is to work hard and increase my views on my blog, I feel like this will always be a goal every month for most bloggers I mean even if you got a thousand every month you want to push for two. Sometimes I feel like giving up on blogging but I remember it’s not about the numbers I started all this because I love it. Soon enough my numbers will grow, heck today I made it to more views ! I am getting somewhere and I feel proud of it.

And there you have it three of my big goals for the month of June, its always hard to keep up with blogging especially being a mom and a wife but I feel like setting goals for yourself every month helps motivate you even more. I hope this blog helps in some way, thank you all for reading, sorry if my blogs seem short I am trying to put out posts while dealing with a move and kids running around. There will be a post up Friday morning at 9am EST standard time so look out for that! Remember to like & comment I always love to hear from you !

Fenty Beauty Foundation Review

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post! Happy Tuesday I hope everyone weekend went well? I sadly had to schedule Monday post for today because of mom life taking over on Sunday, that I honestly forgot to plan and schedule my post. Sunday was simply not my dad it was super busy, but I am happy I got it up now. For today’s blog post I wanted to do an review on the Fenty foundation. I wanted to give my honest opinion on the product since I’ve got to use it a couple times now.

Awhile back I purchased the Fenty Beauty pro filter soft matte long wear foundation, it’s known for a soft matte build-able coverage. Also comes in 50 shades, I have purchased the colour 410. I wanted to give this foundation a try due to me loving the Fenty glosses and the foundation seemed light, also this foundation was matte and am a sucker for matte foundations. I also saw how it was for combination skin types which I am so I decided why not? I purchased the colour in 410 because my skin number I got matched with matched me with that and I saw it somewhat matched my skin tone. Despite it chose that colour I feel like it’s not exactly my skin shade to get it to blend well I have to buff it out a couple times. I also found the shade really bright and comes off really yellow and to tell you the truth I hate foundations that come off with a strong yellow undertone, I find those are the ones that leave you with the “mask” look. The foundation felt light and I found it did give a matte finish, and little goes a long way. I overall ended up somewhat disliking but I feel it was more to Sephora recommending the wrong shade but I feel like it’s because it’s the closest shade to me. I usually use to highlight areas on my face, other then that it’s pretty much less used. I wouldn’t say the foundation is awful but I am currently not loving how this shade blends with me, if this is the only shade for me I don’t see myself using this foundation.

Thanks for reading my review, if you’ve have purchased this foundation what are your thoughts on it? Is it your fav? I love to hear your thoughts, next planned blog post will be up Wednesday at 9am EST!

Morphe & Huda Beauty Review

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post. Happy Monday! I am so happy I will get this week to have a bit of relaxation due to my daughter being on spring break. This gives me more time to work on my blog and do more Pinterest, I am officially on the Pinterest obsession. For today’s blog post I am finally doing my review for my Huda beauty foundation and the Morphe palette I got awhile back. I wanted to use these products a couple times before having my thought on these products.

So I got the Huda beauty faux filter foundation, I have been dying to try this foundation out. I have heard really good things about this product and also all the tutorial video have pulled me in. This foundation is full coverage foundation, it has 30 shades it’s a natural finish and this foundation is for combination to oily skin type. I so far absolutely love this foundation it is now my top foundation, I have been using it every time I been doing my make up. It does what it says it has the best coverage and it feels hydrating on my skin, it blends in so well. I love how gives off a smooth silky look and I find it holds up a good time throughout the day. I would honestly purchase this again and again, the first time I used this foundation I did end up breaking out but I would not say maybe it was the foundation I honestly do not know if it was but I still would purchase this. I would love to try the primer with this product, I might just end up giving it a try and see how well they work together. Overall this was a well worth buy, I would consider you all giving this product a try if you haven’t!

The next product I got was the Morphe (just noticed I have totally been spelling the name wrong) 9B bronzed babe eye shadow palette. I am not a person to wear eye shadow but I automatically fell in love with this palette as son as I seen it on Sephora. This palette has nine creamy shimmering shades, it has very pigmented shades which is what made me party fall in love with this product. Most palettes I have used over the years the colours haven’t been very pigmented and that is one of the biggest disappointments. So far using the palette I have nothing bad to say, the colours show up well and blend well also. I know one of the hardest problems for me was finding palettes that have a good amount of shades that will look good with my tone of skin and this does the job! I honestly love a good neutral tones and bronze tones anything that is more in the fall scheme which this palette is.

If I had to purchase this product again I would honestly purchase it again, it is the first palette I dont regret purchasing. The colours are true to tone as online, and I also love the packaging also. I was not disappointed in this shopping trip, I would recommend you all to go check that palette out. And that is my honest review on these products, thanks to you all for taking time for reading my thoughts. I hope this review helped on your thoughts on these products or even brand, look out for my next post which will be up Wednesday at 9am EST time.
