Hey everyone, welcome back. For today’s post I am going to do a Sephora unboxing. I have not done a haul in a long while. To be honest I haven’t ordered in a long time from Sephora. I just haven’t had time even to do my make up since giving birth to my second daughter. But I have decided I want to get back into my makeup. I also really want to get into doing makeup videos soon. And of course I will let you all know when I start.
This will be so different for me since am an introvert. But it can’t hurt to try something new and who knows I might end up loving it.
I got two products from Mario badescu. I am excited to try these out because I’ve been wanting to try his brand for awhile. But of course I didn’t get into buying it for the longest until now. I feel like am left out because I know so many people have tried his products already. Therefore I got his enzyme cleansing gel and his aloe cucumber facial spray.
The enzyme cleansing gel is a daily face wash that has papaya and grapefruit extract. This product is pretty much for all skin types also. This helps with oiliness, uneven texture and fullness of the skin. The papaya helps with the rejuvenation and refreshes the skin and grapefruit does the same also. But they helps remove the excess oil that is in the skin. And improve the complexion of your skin.
The facial spray I got is a aloe, green tea and cucumber. Anyone can use this product for their skin type. This product helps improve dryness in the skin and help wake your skin. The green tea in the product helps on antioxidant benefit. Cucumber replenishes and tones your skin and the peppermint drives a soothing feel. This brand also carries two more facial mists.
For the last and final product I got was the ordinary niacinamide 10% + zinc 1%. This product is for all skin types. It is a vitamin/mineral formula made for skin with blemishes. This product will work best for anyone with high amount of oiliness and also work for pores. But like i’ve stated it can work for all skin types, but if you are a oily skin type this product is a must in your skin care regimen. Niacinamide is a vitamin that reduce skin blemishes on the skin. It also balances the high levels of sebum.
In conclusion, and that is my sephora unboxing haul. Thank you to all who read today’s post. I hope I informed you on enough information if you are interested in buying any of these products. I will do an review after trying out the products for awhile. Please like, share and leave a comment! If you haven’t read my last few posts they will be below.
Hey everyone, welcome back to another post. I am happy I was able to get this post out, this post was long overdue. For today’s post I wanted to talk about how to contour. Contouring is a application technique used to create shadows and bring out your facial structure. This helps makes certain parts of the face stand out and also appear slimmer. The highlight part of contour and highlighting helps bring out the glow in your face of where the sun naturally hits.
So first I want to talk about the basics with contouring. When it comes to contouring you want to choose a shade that is one shade lighter down from your skin tone. Also another tip is knowing your face shape. One thing I notice a lot is that some people tend to contour the same. Your not going to want to do that. Your going to want to determine your face shape first so you know what areas to contour. For example, I have an heart shaped face so I try to always bring out my cheek bones and pay attention to around my chin area. Another tip is making sure to use the right product. But this would be all up to you!
Prime with a primer also a moisturizer for your face.
Apply your favourite foundation. With a damp beauty blender.
To contour, your going to want to follow the structure and shadows of your own face shape. If you want to define your jaw line your going to want to blend powder or cream along your jawline. If you want to bring out your cheek bones follow the same steps. Here’s another tip if you love your nose you do not need to contour your nose!
Set your make up, remember to along your T zone. Your going to want to do this with a setting powder. After setting with a powder you can set with a setting spray. Your going to just spray this and this will bring your makeup altogether!
I hope this post was helpful, I tried to get as detailed as possible. I hope you all enjoyed today’s post. If any of you have any questions about contour and highlighting please leave a comment. I am always happy to help and I always love reading your comments and questions. I must say contour and highlighting (well more contouring) is one of my favourite parts to a completed makeup look. I love bringing out my natural cheek bones and just playing around with it. What are some of your favourite products for contour and highlighting? Do you find it easy or difficult when it comes to contouring? Please leave a comment, like and please share! Also if you haven’t checked out my last post you can find that HERE.
Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog. For today’s blog post I wanted to share how I do my brows. My regular routine I’ve been sticking to for like forever. Now I just want to share my routine what works for me. I just wanted to share tips because this might just work for someone else or at least give them a idea on how to do their brows. Now to be completely honest with you all I never knew how to do brows, I sucked. I now know but am no make up artist, like I said I know what works for me. Now for my hack am just going to explain my routine and steps.
Some of you might know or not, but I am combination skin type. So this means am oily in my t zone. This causes my forehead area to get oily throughout the day. And this would always cause my brows and makeup in general to slide right off. Honestly this was so annoying to me, but I realized I just needed the right brow products and primer for my skin concerns. It’s all about laying down a great base for longer wear.
So you have your base, and all you need are the right products. My hack for holding down my brows and to help grip my brows is my primer. The Becca matte pore less primer. I have been using this product for awhile now and I love it. The consistency is matte and a glue like texture so it for sure does what it says. Applying this I found helps matte any oils I have around my brows and also helps keep my brows in place when I add product.
Next, the brow pencil I use to do my brows is the Benefit brow pencil. I love their product I have never had any problems and also I find it so much easy using this pencil. The product I use to use to do my brows was Anastasia. I have used the pomade and pencil and it just wasn’t for me.
After applying the matte base, my brows are so much easier to apply product to. I brush through my brows and apply! I just want to make a disclaimer that when apply a lot of this product it can leave white streaks. So a little goes a long way! After I am done all that I finish off with the benefit brow gel. That is another product I am loving.
This is my usual brow routine whenever I do my brows. I would say throughout the day my brows stay in place much better then me just applying the pencil right away without a base. I hope you all enjoyed reading today’s post. Look out for me uploads during this week. Also what are some brow products you all enjoy? Or even live by? You absolutely won’t switch from ? Please let me know in the comments! And please share, like and comment! You can even let me know any hacks you have in the comments. If you haven’t read last post you can find that HERE.
Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog page. Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and holiday. I will be putting out posts for the rest of December and 2019. For today’s post I wanted to do a review on spa subscriptions a facial brand. I got a few of the products sent to me awhile back and I wanted to try it out before I talk about it. If you would like to check out the brand you can find them HERE.
Nature and science combine for skincare solutions designed to target specific skincare needs.
Developed by an expert team of researchers and chemists, SPASCRIPTIONS combines advanced technology with high-quality ingredients for a skincare range that fits into your existing skincare routine.
Unmask your natural beauty.” – Spascriptions
I received the 3 pack face masks, it’s ideal for all skin types and the package contains 3 different types of masks. You can use each masks at a time or you can use all three to target different skin issues. These products are PH balanced and is hypo – allergenic. When you receive you package each comes with an applicator which is one of the things I loved about their products. This applicator helps you easily and quickly apply your mask mess free. Spascriptions also has a 15 minute facial therapy.
“ • Cleanse and dry the face • Dip brush applicator into jar and scoop desired amount • Spread evenly over the face, avoiding eyes and lips • If applying more than one mask, wash brush between each mask application and repeat the above • Relax for 15-minutes whilst the mask works its magic • Gently rinse off remaining residue “ – Spascriptions
In my three package I received the silver mask which is the charcoal clay, a yellow royal honey and a pink which helps with collagen. So far using their products I haven’t had any problem with them. The masks are great on my skin and they haven’t caused my skin to break out whatsoever. I love how they package their products with an applicator because it’s so easy to use that to apply the products mess free. I even have been using the applicator to apply my flow recipe sleeping mask. As for results i honestly haven’t been seeing a difference in my skin. But I hardly get or have issues with my skin it’s pretty close to a normal skin type so that could be why so I wouldn’t label the products for the “not use” drawer.
Therefore Spascriptions is a pretty affordable brand you can probably find it at your nearest pharmacy store. I overall feel like the brand is okay it’s adorable and their products work great. Also they are all for all ski types so if you would like to check them out link is attached. Thanks for everyone who read today’s post. I will be uploading another post for tomorrow so look out for that. Please like comment and share! I always love reading your comments. Also if you haven’t got to read my last post you can find that HERE. Until next post!
Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post! Happy Monday I hope everyone had a great weekend mine was decently pleasant. For today’s blog post I wanted to do a review for Sol De Janeiro coco cabana cream.
I recently got the sample product in my Ipsy August bag along with other sample products. I have bought the Bum Bum Cream, I believe I have done a review on it you can find it HERE. I have not even thought to try this product because I am loving the scent of the Bum Bum Cream so I was excited to try this one out. And I honestly wish I have decided to try this out sooner! I am absolutely in love with this coco cabana cream scent, I am starting to believe this is my all time favorite scent now.
The coco cabana cream is oil in water body cream that instantly hydrates. This product is for all skin types and the main concerns this product supports is dryness, dullness and uneven texture. If you are wondering what the scent type is for the coco cabana cream it is a warm and sweet scent. The key ingredients highlighted in the product are coconut oil, coco sugar and cupuacu butter. One thing I always do before buying any skin related product for my skin is to check is it made for my skin type and what skin concerns is the product helping and would it help me. I always try to avoid buying anything skin products that don’t help my skin type or my needs. It honestly is a waste of money for me because it will go against my skin and because it wasn’t made for it. I also abide by this for my make up purchases also.
I am literally going to buy a bigger size of this product and also get the body mist along with it. This will most likely be my go to scent for awhile. I honestly don’t think am going to get sold on another scent. This has definitely beat the Bum Bum Cream, I love the scent also but it’s something I wouldn’t apply daily because I’d probably after awhile get sick of the scent. But this coconut scent is something I can live for I guess am a warm sweet type of girl.
What are some of your favorite scents? Or are you more prone like me to just sniff around until you come across a scent you love? I guess since I am sold and hooked on the scent I am more a warm sweet scent. I recently came across online on Sol De Janeioro page where they said they have came out with a slightly different scent. I was confused because I dont know if it is the new scent I have or I haven’t smelled that yet. But I am going to purchase the body mist and medium sized bottle of the cream. You can find that HERE from your local sephora. Thank you all for reading, I hope you all enjoyed! I will be getting a laptop soon, most likely by September. And I will then be back on my blog schedule as usual. See you all in my next post!
