Anniversary in review

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post. I hope everyone had an amazing July! It’s hard to believe summer is almost over and we’re already in August. This past weekend was my two year anniversary trip. My actual anniversary day was July 29th and my husband surprised me with an three and half day get away and it was exactly what I needed.

We left the night of the Saturday for the trip, but we had a party to go to the evening of the Saturday so we had to attend that event with both the girls. I absolutely hate party’s the start really late, am already a homebody type of women and I just hate having to attend late party’s especially with young kids and a baby. So the party started 7:30pm but did not exactly start until 9:30pm and let me remind you I got a five year old with me and an eight month old. You all can at least imagine what I was thinking especially since right after me and hubby was leaving for an hour away trip. Well we all started eating by after 9:30pm and stayed a bit because we didn’t want to seem rude and just leave. We finally left the party at 11:00pm with a tired five year old and a somewhat irritable baby.

After dropping off the kids at my mom we finally left for our trip. My husband surprised our get away at Niagara Falls, ON It’s about an hour and 10 mins away from Toronto. We arrived about 1:00am in the morning we were both so tired. I literally had to stay up the whole way to make sure he didn’t fall asleep at the wheel and I only started to get tired 15 minutes to our destination.

So most of the time we spent away we of course had to spend it at attractions. The first place we went to was the arcade. Now I am literally addicted to this place because am always trying to get like over thousand tickets. Now I surprisingly learned something new about myself that weekend. I came across a black jack game 21 and my husband had to teach me how to play and you guys I swear to god I hit 21 like five times and got over hundred tickets. I left my husband shocked I didn’t know how I did it but I did I was so proud of myself.

We also visited an wax museum of celebrity’s, it was really interesting. That is some photos I took through out the museum. It was really insane how realistic the wax was done and the detail on them here are some more.

So we also went to a house of mirrors maze, which I will never do it again! Your basically in a maze of mirrors and you have to find your way out! And I felt so trapped I was starting to gain so much anxiety. My husband is so relaxed and cool when it comes to these things and am just not. I didn’t get to take any pictures during this of course because I was too busy freaking out! But I ended up giving up and going through the chicken door exit to get out and my husband decided to finish alone. We did another maze but this one was much easier because it was outside and it was too crazy.

It was really fun sadly while we were doing the maze it started raining a bit but luckily it wasn’t so bad. We also went inside Riplys museum the book of records and it was awesome. We learned some things we actually didn’t know like the oldest man that ever lived, the tallest man and the biggest man that lost 920 pounds himself! And also the women with the most tattoos, the women with the tallest neck and the fastest women, fastest animal. Yeah it was all insane!

This weekend was fun and well needed for the both of us, and it was actually the first time we actually spent time away from the kids. We both felt guilty and missed them but we realised we should have time for us now and then and it’s okay. We also have another trip coming up the end of August but I will leave that for a surprise. It’s always great to remember to take time out for yourself even if you don’t have kids and just need a break from reality to recuperate. It’s great for you mind, Heath and for you and your partner if you have one. Coming back seeing the girls was the best feeling ever! Even though all they was interested in was what we brought them. This was a great weekend well spent, and can’t wait for more exciting trips on the way. Thank you all for reading!

Blog Update

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post. I just wanted to do a quick blog update somewhat of what has been going on lately. This will sadly affect my blogging schedule and I wanted to let you guys know ahead of time.

This last weekend my laptop has officially gave away and won’t turn on, am assuming I need a new battery. But my laptop has had previous issues also other then the battery giving out so I am thinking of just purchasing a brand new one. At the moment I can’t say when I am purchasing it so for now I will not be putting up much blog posts due to this happening. I can still do everything from my phone like me putting this post up now but it’s not the same to properly edit before publishing. You will randomly see spontaneous posts uploading it’s if I can get a hold of a computer not completely sure. I also had been so busy these last few weeks trying to get things done and it’s been so physically and emotionally draining especially since Toronto has been having heat warnings. I hope soon I can slow down and also get a hold of buying a laptop.

In Conclusion ..

I also still have unpacking to do, and then am also running around doing errands and preparing for a vacation me and my husband is taking for our anniversary. So it’s a lot to take in but I wanted to make sure I put out a blog update post so everyone knows whats going on. These changes will maybe be going on for the rest of the summer, hopefully things get back to its original schedule soon. I will of course still be active on all my social media platforms which you can find here Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Thank you all for understanding, I will do my best of course on uploading as much content I can. I really do not want to delay much postings I will go insane if I am behind so I will make out the best I can do in this situation. Thank you all for reading, please check out my latest post, Blog Q&A. See you all in my next post!

Sol De Janeiro “Bum Bum Cream”

Hey everyone, welcome back to anther blog post. Happy Wednesday I hope everyone morning is going well so far. I am so happy to officially focus on my blogging again since I have moved last week. And it was absolutely tiring. I am back to my post scheduling already but for today’s blog post I am doing my review on Sol De Janeiro bum bum cream. I have in the past posted about when I got the product you can check it out here ” https://littleblackdress116079255.com/2019/05/02/quick-sephora-purchases/“. And now I am doing my offically review and thoughts on the product.

Sol De Janeiro

Now you can find the product here https://www.sephora.com/ca/en/product/brazilian-bum-bum-cream-P406080. At your local Sephora store, I purchased a mini because at the time I honestly was being cheap. The bigger size sells for C$59.00, which I am not to much feeling the price to be honest. Now the fragrance is a warm & spicy, but the scent is warm & sweet. The product is good for dryness, dullness and loss of elasticity. It is also made for pretty much every skin type out there. This product soaks in a fast absorbing cream, this helps tighten and smooth the look of skin.

Now to get the best out of the product is to massage the product in circular motion. You would apply this around your bum, tummy, legs and all over I am currently using the product around my bum and tummy area, mostly my tummy because of course I got two kids. My tummy area is not as tight as it use to be so I am so happy there is a product that smells good and also helps will this issue. The product is smooth and smells so good, it is not a greasy feeling and the scent is not to high. I always love applying the product right after I shower to get the most out of the product. This i recommend because when your skin is not to wet your product tends to soak in better.

I am really loving this brand, I am 100% looking forward to buying more of their products. This is something I would continue to buy often and restock, I give this product a 10 out of 10. Let me know in the comments if any of you have tried this brand or product. Or are you looking to try this out? Like & comment ! Thanks for reading I will see you all in my next post !

Zara Haul Part Two

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post. Happy Wednesday I hope everyone so far is having a great start to their morning. I am so excited that in about a week or so I will be officially moving and I can finally get back to my space for blogging and get so much more posts up for you all. Its so hard to blog and take photos as my space is very limited due to having so many boxes around me. But as soon as I officially move you all of course will know, as for now I am working with what I can. For today’s blog post I am posting my part two for my zara haul because I love zara that much that I bought that many things that I had to break it up into two blog posts I know I know I have a serious problem but you all will be seeing a lot of zara hope that isn’t a problem? lol

So I am not exactly a shorts girl I actually haven’t really bought shorts since a child, I actually just started buying some because am so into the “cycle shorts” style and am loving how comfortable they are and I actually think am going to live in them this summer. I saw these cute leopard shorts and automatically had to get them they were the cutest! These went for 45.90 CAD but since I bought them online it came about little over $50.00.

I also bought these cute black flats I noticed they will go really well with the leopard shorts for a dress up look, the flats were about $45.00 CAD. My wardrobe was really lacking a lot of dress shoes and outfits so I decided to invest in a lot of dress clothing or at least clothing I can dress up or down.

This bag is a recent buy from zara, I got this iridescent bag, now this is something I normally wouldn’t buy t would be out my comfort zone but I decided to step outside of the box and purchase it. I would pair this up with most of my summer outfits that have a bit of colour or even if I decide to wear something toned down I would pair this bag for a pop of colour. This year I decided to redo most of my wardrobe and revamp it and change up my style a bit, my closet always and mostly consist of black clothes and I honestly cant live like that anymore and am starting to find it a bit boring. So lately I have been buying pieces even if its shoes or bags with colour to spice up my closet. I personally find fashion or even beauty fun and it doesn’t hurt to play around with it and show your personally style.

This last item I got is another recent item I got which is this cute leather skirt, I literally got it unplanned in the store. I actually have bought a denim mom jean high rise shorts but when I got home and actually tried them on they didn’t fit at all I literally couldn’t button the shorts or zip them up thanks to mom tummy lol. It hurt to return the item and I planned on switching for a bigger size but ended up running into this leather skirt and forgot about the denim shorts and ended up going with the skirt. So this skirt and the shorts were $39.90 CAD, thankfully the skirt fit when I got home I honestly was worried lol I cant wait to wear it out this summer another item that can be dressed up or down. And that is it for my haul for now of course because I am always buying and ordering items from zara I seriously have a problem and am trying to at least cut down because we all know zara is a bit pricey. Thanks for reading remember to comment and like I always love hearing from you all, let me know what your favourite item is? Or what is something you’d rock? Thanks for reading and talk with you all soon!

June Goals

Hey everyone, and welcome back to another blog post. Happy Wednesday! I hope you all are having a great week. It’s the 5th of June and I am just now writing my June goals for the month, I have realized that I probably won’t have high expectations this month because of a lot going on. This month I am doing a lot of packing because I am getting ready to move, I am super excited for this move I am so ready to be leaving my apartment. I am ready to start a new chapter in my family life, also after this move I will be putting up more content and be even more consistent with my blog.

One of my goals are to consistently at least on my social media platforms. Especially Twitter and Instagram I want to increase my followings, be more engaging with my followers because before increasing numbers I at least want connections with my followers. My second goal is pretty similar to the first, I want to continue to improve my content with Instagram. I am always trying to put up the best quality of pictures on my instagram; one thing I believe in is if you don’t put out the best or least quality it can always lead to lack of following and engagement. I am always hearing this consistently when doing my research on social media containing being a blogger. My third and last goal is to work hard and increase my views on my blog, I feel like this will always be a goal every month for most bloggers I mean even if you got a thousand every month you want to push for two. Sometimes I feel like giving up on blogging but I remember it’s not about the numbers I started all this because I love it. Soon enough my numbers will grow, heck today I made it to more views ! I am getting somewhere and I feel proud of it.

And there you have it three of my big goals for the month of June, its always hard to keep up with blogging especially being a mom and a wife but I feel like setting goals for yourself every month helps motivate you even more. I hope this blog helps in some way, thank you all for reading, sorry if my blogs seem short I am trying to put out posts while dealing with a move and kids running around. There will be a post up Friday morning at 9am EST standard time so look out for that! Remember to like & comment I always love to hear from you !
