Hey everyone, and welcome back to another blog post. Happy Wednesday! I can’t believe it’s literally in the middle of the week already. This week for me so far has been overwhelming but I will make it. I haven’t been feeling well just yesterday I have been fighting to rest and literally forgot about today’s post, I literally came up with this post and stayed up past 10 trying to make this post so bare with me. For today’s post I wanted to share how I plan my blog posts, how I organise just the planning out process. I am happy I came up with a system especially with being a wife and having a five year old and a baby but this system works for me.

So first things first, I just want to make a disclaimer that my system doesn’t have to work for everyone but then again it can end up working for someone so it’s all on your schedule. So I schedule all Mondays and Wednesday only and I do not post on social media on Saturday or Sunday’s because I am always busy on the weekends. So literally how I organize everything is on those days only, so Saturday and Sunday I brainstorm and will go on WordPress in drafts and type out all the potential blog posts I’d want to do and just literally sit and type out as many as I can get out. If I am having writers blog what I do is go onto Pinterest type “blog ideas” and read through potential ideas I love and I might change it up a bit to suite my blog and I still sit there and type out as much ideas as possible. Ok so I got my ideas down next I delete all the posts I am not feeling and clear them, when I decide what I will post I use Saturday and Sundays to type out my Monday post. If I have time after I finish and schedule Monday post I will write my intro for Wednesday post this helps me a step further in planning.

As soon as it’s Monday and my post goes up I use Tuesday to write and prepare for my Wednesday post. And if am stuck which I shouldn’t be because I literally type out all my blog ideas so I barely get stuck. I choose which post id want to do and type that out, and schedule it for Wednesday morning. I find Tuesday is less time for me to prepare for a post but since I prepare a lot over the weekend it helps in some way. After Wednesday I am back to doing the same system over again ..

Blog ideas

Draft posts

Type posts

Schedule

If you do this often around your blog schedule you would have enough posts possibly for the month and also never get stuck and have writers block. Also having your posts drafted already and half way typed out saves you huge amounts of time. Sometimes I have about 3 posts at a time intro already typed out or more and I could get about two posts already scheduled and up. The only thing to get in my way of my posting schedule is of life takes over and I don’t have time to do this process, and I end up having to miss a day of posting. But overall I literally do this over and over throughout the weeks, I just incorporated tailwind into my method I am still trying to get a hang of using it and figuring it out. But so far I am liking it, tailwind helps put aloe with my posting and hopefully it helps increase my blog traffic. It has helped so far with me just putting pins through out the day to my Pinterest but if you guys would like to know me check it out here.

I hope my method of blog posting has helped you all in some way or another or maybe my whole system is easy for you either way I hope I made your job easier. Thank you all for reading, remember to like & comment I always love hearing from you all! Next scheduled post will be up Monday at 9am EST time. Also forgot to mention this is my 100th blog post! yay!

Hey everyone, and welcome back to another blog post! Happy Monday I hope everyone weekend went well? Mine went great I feel like this weekend even the last week went by too quick. For today’s blog post I wanted to share what keeps me going and motivated when it comes to blogging.

I know as bloggers we all go through rough patches and moments of forgetting why we started blogging, or moments of frustration with a specific problem or maybe even life taking over and we slowly give up. Yup, I go through these every now and then. I have my moments of frustration to where I always ask myself “what am I doing wrong?” Or is my content good enough? To where I have had life take over and I had to totally put blogging on hold. That moment was really rough for me because when I had returned my blog was barely getting any traffic and I had to work extra hard and put out double the posts to let every know like “heyy am back!” . My biggest challenge so far as a blogger is getting huge amounts of traffic, like this drives me insane to where I always feel like giving up. Sometimes I can’t even be bothered to days I literally am up a day reading blogs on blogs of how to improve your traffic.

What I realized is there is no secret to what gets everyone going. It’s why we started blogging and the story behind it. I always remember the day I left me job and was home doing absolutely nothing, and I just decided to start little Black Dress out of no where. I always try and remember the days I struggled in school due to having a learning disability and it interfering with jobs and having people tell me I can’t. Little Black Dress came from a mom being able to be herself and express who Sarah is. I would say one of the biggest reasons I stay motivated is wanting to conquer my shyness, I hate public speaking and opening up and I feel like this is the only place I can do it. I don’t want me being “shy” take over and stop me from getting what I want in life and this is it this is the answer so far in achieving just that.

If we all just take a minute through those times and think to really why we started everything that’s the best motivation we can get. To even where the promotions, money and social media fame wouldn’t mean anything to us but the enjoyment of putting out posts. I am also so blessed to have a supportive husband who always supports my blogging, he is always there to help me and always even willing to proofread my work (always embarrassing for me). He gives me ideas and always asks me how it’s doing and willing to invest in anything I need. I honestly don’t know what I would do without him I feel like he is that extra push I need to keep going, it’s always good to have that support system that would be your cheerleader when you are down and stuck. Before blogging I honestly didn’t know it was going to be this hard but I don’t regret it one bit! Thanks everyone for reading! I hope this post help in someway or another, next post will be up Wednesday at 9am EST.

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post. Happy Monday! I am so happy I will get this week to have a bit of relaxation due to my daughter being on spring break. This gives me more time to work on my blog and do more Pinterest, I am officially on the Pinterest obsession. For today’s blog post I am finally doing my review for my Huda beauty foundation and the Morphe palette I got awhile back. I wanted to use these products a couple times before having my thought on these products.

So I got the Huda beauty faux filter foundation, I have been dying to try this foundation out. I have heard really good things about this product and also all the tutorial video have pulled me in. This foundation is full coverage foundation, it has 30 shades it’s a natural finish and this foundation is for combination to oily skin type. I so far absolutely love this foundation it is now my top foundation, I have been using it every time I been doing my make up. It does what it says it has the best coverage and it feels hydrating on my skin, it blends in so well. I love how gives off a smooth silky look and I find it holds up a good time throughout the day. I would honestly purchase this again and again, the first time I used this foundation I did end up breaking out but I would not say maybe it was the foundation I honestly do not know if it was but I still would purchase this. I would love to try the primer with this product, I might just end up giving it a try and see how well they work together. Overall this was a well worth buy, I would consider you all giving this product a try if you haven’t!

The next product I got was the Morphe (just noticed I have totally been spelling the name wrong) 9B bronzed babe eye shadow palette. I am not a person to wear eye shadow but I automatically fell in love with this palette as son as I seen it on Sephora. This palette has nine creamy shimmering shades, it has very pigmented shades which is what made me party fall in love with this product. Most palettes I have used over the years the colours haven’t been very pigmented and that is one of the biggest disappointments. So far using the palette I have nothing bad to say, the colours show up well and blend well also. I know one of the hardest problems for me was finding palettes that have a good amount of shades that will look good with my tone of skin and this does the job! I honestly love a good neutral tones and bronze tones anything that is more in the fall scheme which this palette is.

If I had to purchase this product again I would honestly purchase it again, it is the first palette I dont regret purchasing. The colours are true to tone as online, and I also love the packaging also. I was not disappointed in this shopping trip, I would recommend you all to go check that palette out. And that is my honest review on these products, thanks to you all for taking time for reading my thoughts. I hope this review helped on your thoughts on these products or even brand, look out for my next post which will be up Wednesday at 9am EST time.

Hey everyone, and welcome back to another blog post! Happy Wednesday hope everyone is having a great start to their Wednesday? If you have noticed or not I have decided to put a change to my posting schedule and switch it from Wednesday at 3pm to Wednesday at 9am. This puts a little bit more of a pressure on me to get my post up early and scheduled for Wednesday but I’ve been doing a lot of research and I have been studying my feed and I have noticed that my big traffic and audience is more larger at 9am then 3pm. I know Monday can be different from Wednesday but I am going to give it a try ! Now for today’s blog post am going to talk about my current fashion wish list and how my wardrobe is looking at the moment, and future purchases also.

So if you follow me on Instagram you all know I have a huge zara obsession, it is pretty bad when it comes to my kids I love shopping in zara kids I am obsessed ! But now recently I am loving zara women and I swear I am now converting my whole wardrobe to zara. So I have current favourites for my wish list at the moment.

These are some of my wish list items from zara, a premium ribbed dress, faux leather leggings and the ribbed dress. They are all roughly around $40 CAD. My next few items on my wish list are from Miss pap and Missy empire.

The first item from Missy Empire is the grey joggers, I feel like every girl needs at least one pair of joggers in their wardrobe. You can style this piece anyway. The next item is the grey ribbed two piece set, this is an popular outfit I have been seeing it a lot online, I feel like this would make a cute spring, fall and winter statement. The third is a black leather jacket, this is a cute spring and fall jacket to style with any outfit of choice. Lately I have been looking for one I like and that is not pushing it price wise.

My last item on my list is from Nordstrom, I have bag like this but I thought this one was super cute and would look good with any outfit. Which is an transparent cross body bag. This bag is about $49.00 CAD, those would be some of the items on my wish list currently. I have so much more items but of course I dont want to make this post too long. And am sorry if the post seems super short, I stayed up late trying to get this post half way done then currently just finished it while doing mom duties. I wanted to make this post of me not too much talking but more showing the items but hopefully it helped. Next post will be up Monday at 9amEST! Have a great rest of your Wednesday!

Good afternoon everyone, and welcome back to another blog post ! Lucky you this week getting posts back to back. I am so excited to do this post as it is a product line I have tried awhile back and it doesn’t get out there much also because not much people know of it. But this is a line that can pretty much relate to everyone and to be honest its a pretty fun line.

Farm house fresh is a founded brand from its name of course, their ingredients is made from their fresh grown ingredients on the farm. This brand is a natural based skin care brand their farm house is based in the united states, 99.6% of the ingredients are healthy and fresh. Story behind the brand itself !

All About Farmhouse Fresh

Being such an interesting brand, even for the green beauty space, the story behind FarmHouse Fresh is one to hear. Like many small, indie brands, FarmHouse Fresh was created with one flagship product that went on to become the cornerstone of a full line of skin care products. Just over 10 years ago, FarmHouse Fresh launched an exfoliation trio with sea salt as the main ingredient. This exfoliation system was developed by FarmHouse Fresh founder Shannon McLinden to heal cracked heels. It was that one simple product that launched FarmHouse Fresh to almost instant success after it snagged a coveted feature on Oprah’s O-List. That achievement was just one of many with FarmHouse Fresh products scoring numerous nods from esteemed publications like Elle, Southern Living Magazine, and Redbook.

So aside from the fact that FarmHouse Fresh literally uses farm fresh ingredients, there are many things that make this brand so unique. FarmHouse Fresh princes itself on being a USA made product that specially crafts each and every one of its growing skin care line. Their message of farm life and freshness goes beyond their skin care products as evidenced by just a quick tour around their site. You’ll see that FarmHouse Fresh is dedicated to their farm and all the animals that live there.  – FarmHouseFresh

Farm house fresh has collection of face, body, fragrance and bath products. They carry oils, exfoliates, lotions, creams, moisturisers, soaks, cleansers and much more. Farm house fresh boy oils are perfect to moisturiser the skin after a nice bath or shower, the unique formulation they have is created to lock in moisture. The oils each have a formulation of blended oils and each farm house fresh oil is 99.6% natural formulation. To achieve the best results with the oil is best to drop in a bath or just apply right after a shower. The farm house fresh lotions they have has a great formulation like aloe, shea butter that benefit the skin. They have a number of different scents like back country caramel, fresh melon, ginger sorbet and sweet cream.

The first time I ever tried this brand was back in college when I was studying spa management and this was sold in the college spa, and I personally was hooked on this brand. There products smell so good I purchased the melon scrub with vodka in it and the back country caramel lotion, that lotion was my all time favourite I must say. If you are looking for the all time organic brand that does the job and smells great this would be the one. I love how farm house fresh does their scrubs, their bourbon bubbler is infused with brown sugar and real Kentucky whiskey.

There is a watermelon basil vodkatini, which is watermelon, organic vodka and basil. This has watermelon seed oils with sugar and rice bran for a great exfoliation. The rasmopolitan which is raspberry and vodka, and sugar with rice bran oil. The raspberry extract and the vitamin E in it help hydrate the skin and the salt and sugar help lift away any dead skin cells on the skin. The brand has a great variety of products, you can look at here on their site Farmhousefreshgoods.com. I hope I had the answer to all your cleansing, exfoliating and skin needs if you would like to know more have some time to visit their site. Thank you for reading I hope you all have a great rest of our Wednesday ! Look out for Monday post which will be posted at 9am EST.
