Hello December

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post. I can’t believe it’s the first of December already! I find it insane that the year is coming to an end already and that it’s me and my husband birthday month. I am thinking of doing an birthday post for the week of my birthday but I am unsure of what to write about. If not I will most likely be putting up extra posts on my social media. If you are not yet following me on their you will find it on my page. For this post I will be doing my November in review.

November I returned back to blogging, I did not get to put out as much blog posts as I wanted but I am happy that I at least got to get some out then none. November I decided to focus on a lot more personal posts. I wanted to do a lot more life style posts. I realized that I don’t open up a lot on my blog or social media as often and I wanted to change that. Not many as you may know that I am an introvert and blogging is a way for me to open up more. And November I decided to use that month to make it a month to open up.

Stats

November was a great month for me in search engine results. It’s not much of a big number but the days I never post and I was still getting views I am proud. I find it a amazing how you can write a blog post from a year and two ago and it can randomly become popular in a certain month. I have one blog pertaining to fashion that i wrote in my first year of blogging and now it’s getting tons of traffic in November. My overall views for November was not to bad it is kind of where I wanted it to be. I am hoping to gain a lot more for December. I am planning to end the year off on a good stat in views and traffic.

December Goals

Now for December, I won’t be doing blogmas for this year but I do want to put out a good amount of posts for the end of the year. I won’t promise but I will try just because being a mommy and keeping up with posts is unpredictable already. So great news is I already got posts lined up for December. Make sure to look out for new posts Monday and Wednesday’s. I will be doing Christmas related posts which is exciting because I love to include my kids a lot in these posts. I hope I can achieve my goals for this month so I can end it even better as last year. If I can’t it is still okay because there is January 2020! Thanks for everyone for reading today’s post, if you haven’t got to read last post you can find that HERE! Please follow if you haven’t already and like & comment I always love to hear from you all. Until next post!

Sol De Janeiro “Bum Bum Cream”

Hey everyone, welcome back to anther blog post. Happy Wednesday I hope everyone morning is going well so far. I am so happy to officially focus on my blogging again since I have moved last week. And it was absolutely tiring. I am back to my post scheduling already but for today’s blog post I am doing my review on Sol De Janeiro bum bum cream. I have in the past posted about when I got the product you can check it out here ” https://littleblackdress116079255.com/2019/05/02/quick-sephora-purchases/“. And now I am doing my offically review and thoughts on the product.

Sol De Janeiro

Now you can find the product here https://www.sephora.com/ca/en/product/brazilian-bum-bum-cream-P406080. At your local Sephora store, I purchased a mini because at the time I honestly was being cheap. The bigger size sells for C$59.00, which I am not to much feeling the price to be honest. Now the fragrance is a warm & spicy, but the scent is warm & sweet. The product is good for dryness, dullness and loss of elasticity. It is also made for pretty much every skin type out there. This product soaks in a fast absorbing cream, this helps tighten and smooth the look of skin.

Now to get the best out of the product is to massage the product in circular motion. You would apply this around your bum, tummy, legs and all over I am currently using the product around my bum and tummy area, mostly my tummy because of course I got two kids. My tummy area is not as tight as it use to be so I am so happy there is a product that smells good and also helps will this issue. The product is smooth and smells so good, it is not a greasy feeling and the scent is not to high. I always love applying the product right after I shower to get the most out of the product. This i recommend because when your skin is not to wet your product tends to soak in better.

I am really loving this brand, I am 100% looking forward to buying more of their products. This is something I would continue to buy often and restock, I give this product a 10 out of 10. Let me know in the comments if any of you have tried this brand or product. Or are you looking to try this out? Like & comment ! Thanks for reading I will see you all in my next post !

Your Blog Post Ideas

Hey everyone, welcome back to another post! I hope everyone had a great weekend and is having a great start to their morning. I can officially say I have moved and I am so happy to say that. So for today’s blog post is going to be different I have been sending out a few questions through my social media asking questions. I have been doing a lot of blog posts based on through inspiration and knowledge but I want to do something different.

I really want to put content out there that is going to help and benefit a lot of people, but also content that people would like to see or need more knowledge in even. This is also another chance for me to get to know my readers and engage with you all, I always love to hear from you all.

Why Blog Post Ideas?

Lately I have been trying to engage as much as I can with my fellow bloggers and also readers. One of the best things we can all do is connect with each other which is one of the best ways to gain a lot of things from. I have asked blog post idea questions over social media like what are some of your major skin concerns to get information from you all to do skincare posts . I have decided to do this because I would love to do blog posts on information that readers are looking for and would like to read. do you love beauty more? or fashion is your thing? Also like I have mentioned earlier I would love for you all to start asking me some questions.

Getting to know me

I would love to put more information about myself out there but I dont know exactly what you all would like to know now that I have moved I am slowly adjusting and getting back into my blog schedule. I am still trying to unpack and get organised so I will still be putting out blog posts but please bare with me for now if they are off days I do not post.

Morphe & Huda Beauty Review

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post. Happy Monday! I am so happy I will get this week to have a bit of relaxation due to my daughter being on spring break. This gives me more time to work on my blog and do more Pinterest, I am officially on the Pinterest obsession. For today’s blog post I am finally doing my review for my Huda beauty foundation and the Morphe palette I got awhile back. I wanted to use these products a couple times before having my thought on these products.

So I got the Huda beauty faux filter foundation, I have been dying to try this foundation out. I have heard really good things about this product and also all the tutorial video have pulled me in. This foundation is full coverage foundation, it has 30 shades it’s a natural finish and this foundation is for combination to oily skin type. I so far absolutely love this foundation it is now my top foundation, I have been using it every time I been doing my make up. It does what it says it has the best coverage and it feels hydrating on my skin, it blends in so well. I love how gives off a smooth silky look and I find it holds up a good time throughout the day. I would honestly purchase this again and again, the first time I used this foundation I did end up breaking out but I would not say maybe it was the foundation I honestly do not know if it was but I still would purchase this. I would love to try the primer with this product, I might just end up giving it a try and see how well they work together. Overall this was a well worth buy, I would consider you all giving this product a try if you haven’t!

The next product I got was the Morphe (just noticed I have totally been spelling the name wrong) 9B bronzed babe eye shadow palette. I am not a person to wear eye shadow but I automatically fell in love with this palette as son as I seen it on Sephora. This palette has nine creamy shimmering shades, it has very pigmented shades which is what made me party fall in love with this product. Most palettes I have used over the years the colours haven’t been very pigmented and that is one of the biggest disappointments. So far using the palette I have nothing bad to say, the colours show up well and blend well also. I know one of the hardest problems for me was finding palettes that have a good amount of shades that will look good with my tone of skin and this does the job! I honestly love a good neutral tones and bronze tones anything that is more in the fall scheme which this palette is.

If I had to purchase this product again I would honestly purchase it again, it is the first palette I dont regret purchasing. The colours are true to tone as online, and I also love the packaging also. I was not disappointed in this shopping trip, I would recommend you all to go check that palette out. And that is my honest review on these products, thanks to you all for taking time for reading my thoughts. I hope this review helped on your thoughts on these products or even brand, look out for my next post which will be up Wednesday at 9am EST time.

Farm House Fresh

Good afternoon everyone, and welcome back to another blog post ! Lucky you this week getting posts back to back. I am so excited to do this post as it is a product line I have tried awhile back and it doesn’t get out there much also because not much people know of it. But this is a line that can pretty much relate to everyone and to be honest its a pretty fun line.

Farm house fresh is a founded brand from its name of course, their ingredients is made from their fresh grown ingredients on the farm. This brand is a natural based skin care brand their farm house is based in the united states, 99.6% of the ingredients are healthy and fresh. Story behind the brand itself !

All About Farmhouse Fresh

Being such an interesting brand, even for the green beauty space, the story behind FarmHouse Fresh is one to hear. Like many small, indie brands, FarmHouse Fresh was created with one flagship product that went on to become the cornerstone of a full line of skin care products. Just over 10 years ago, FarmHouse Fresh launched an exfoliation trio with sea salt as the main ingredient. This exfoliation system was developed by FarmHouse Fresh founder Shannon McLinden to heal cracked heels. It was that one simple product that launched FarmHouse Fresh to almost instant success after it snagged a coveted feature on Oprah’s O-List. That achievement was just one of many with FarmHouse Fresh products scoring numerous nods from esteemed publications like Elle, Southern Living Magazine, and Redbook.

So aside from the fact that FarmHouse Fresh literally uses farm fresh ingredients, there are many things that make this brand so unique. FarmHouse Fresh princes itself on being a USA made product that specially crafts each and every one of its growing skin care line. Their message of farm life and freshness goes beyond their skin care products as evidenced by just a quick tour around their site. You’ll see that FarmHouse Fresh is dedicated to their farm and all the animals that live there.  – FarmHouseFresh

Farm house fresh has collection of face, body, fragrance and bath products. They carry oils, exfoliates, lotions, creams, moisturisers, soaks, cleansers and much more. Farm house fresh boy oils are perfect to moisturiser the skin after a nice bath or shower, the unique formulation they have is created to lock in moisture. The oils each have a formulation of blended oils and each farm house fresh oil is 99.6% natural formulation. To achieve the best results with the oil is best to drop in a bath or just apply right after a shower. The farm house fresh lotions they have has a great formulation like aloe, shea butter that benefit the skin. They have a number of different scents like back country caramel, fresh melon, ginger sorbet and sweet cream.

The first time I ever tried this brand was back in college when I was studying spa management and this was sold in the college spa, and I personally was hooked on this brand. There products smell so good I purchased the melon scrub with vodka in it and the back country caramel lotion, that lotion was my all time favourite I must say. If you are looking for the all time organic brand that does the job and smells great this would be the one. I love how farm house fresh does their scrubs, their bourbon bubbler is infused with brown sugar and real Kentucky whiskey.

There is a watermelon basil vodkatini, which is watermelon, organic vodka and basil. This has watermelon seed oils with sugar and rice bran for a great exfoliation. The rasmopolitan which is raspberry and vodka, and sugar with rice bran oil. The raspberry extract and the vitamin E in it help hydrate the skin and the salt and sugar help lift away any dead skin cells on the skin. The brand has a great variety of products, you can look at here on their site Farmhousefreshgoods.com. I hope I had the answer to all your cleansing, exfoliating and skin needs if you would like to know more have some time to visit their site. Thank you for reading I hope you all have a great rest of our Wednesday ! Look out for Monday post which will be posted at 9am EST.
