My daily routine during isolation

Hey everyone, welcome back. Happy Monday! These weeks have been going by quick for me. It’s crazy to think that for the fact we have been stuck in isolation for a few weeks now. I am beginning to find it hard to keep myself busy during the days or least find rest. I thought why not make a post on my daily routine during isolation.

Isolation

Morning’s

Most my mornings start at around after 7am. That is usually the time my youngest daughter wakes up and my oldest. They still on that early school mornings schedule. I lay in bed with my youngest for awhile, scroll through social media for awhile before I get up. I love laying for a bit before I get up. To curve this over I drink a cup of water before I start my day.

I prepare breakfast. My oldest loves waffles usually sometimes eggs and my youngest has fruits and eggs. Forgot to mention in the mornings when my youngest gets up she does have a bottle while we relax in bed. So she usually is still hungry so she gets a plate of breakfast. While the kids eat while watching their programs I get ready and start my breakfast. I usually have either eggs or oatmeal and some fruit. While eating am usually watching a show or scrolling through my phone.

After breakfast the kids usually just watch tv. Since online school has started after breakfast my oldest starts her class work. This is usually a challenge throughout the day because my oldest has a very short attention span. She can be doing one task for hours. So pretty much through the afternoon am trying to get her to focus. My one year old usually gets occupied with her favourite movies and shows or just runs around the house. (I usually don’t do much as in learning yet with her she usually doesn’t stay and would just throw anything). So my oldest does this for awhile and by then my youngest gets ready to go down for her morning nap. This is around from 11 to 12:30pm she starts getting tired.

Afternoon

Usually my oldest can be still doing work or taking a break by then. When she does take her break I then allow her to just play for a bit. This is the time I do my blogging or anything else am trying to get done. My youngest naps for about an hour if a short nap or three hours or so if a long nap. But around this time the afternoon am not really doing much. Also I just want to make a disclaimer that since the quarantine started I have been at my mom and dads place. And since then I haven’t gone back home I’ve been staying with them. I just wanted to state that in case anyone wondering why am not really doing anything lol like if am a wife that does nothing.

Evening

By evening time it is usually down time around then for me. We all are not really doing anything by then. It is mostly time doing activities. From 12pm onwards it’s getting things done and coming up with activities to do.

This leads towards more in the evening. By around 6pm its usually dinner time. By then I get my kids dinner ready, I am then most likely eating by then too. After eating they both run around for a bit. By 7pm its ready to get ready for a bath. After my youngest takes a bath she ready to get ready for bed. She is always down by least 8pm to 9pm on good nights. On bad nights she could take up till 10pm to go down. My oldest is rough for going down at nights so she usually would knock out by 10pm the latest. And no I dont allow that on school nights her bedtime is 8:30pm.

Conclusion

And by that time its me time. I am always looking forward to this time throughout the day especially on tiring days. I mean don’t get me wrong I love spending time with my kids but this quarantine can get the best of us. But there you go my day during isolation. I am sorry if my day seems somewhat boring lol. This is a raw everyday routine from a mommy with two kids. Thank you all for reading. Please like, share and comment. And if you haven’t read my latest posts you can find them below.

Hello March

Hey everyone, welcome back to another post. I can’t believe it’s March already . Each month I try to make goals and improvements towards my blog and social media. This helps me keep going and help me improve indifferent ways to improve and accomplish my goals I set. Sometimes I honestly don’t met my goals because life takes over. But new month so new goals and try again. So for this March post I wanted to share this months goals.

Disclaimer: In the name of full transparency, please be aware that this blog post contains affiliate links and any purchases made through such links will result in a small commission for me (at no extra cost for you).”

First Goal : Consistency
I always have this goal every month! I always try and show as much consistency as possible. The reason I always try and keep this as a goal is because it’s hard to get where you want to be if you show no consistency in your plan. Also because am a mother it’s hard to always be consistent because of course being a mother comes first. And sometimes things don’t always go as planned. It’s always hard for me to meet my goals and get my blog to where I want to be. For example I was suppose to have this post up for awhile now lol. It’s actually way over due but I’ve been super tired and drained from the week so it’s now going up now. But I’ll still try and practice consistency!
Second Goal: Planning

Now goes as smooth as planning and organizing. Planning and organizing my thoughts for the day, week and month helps me so much. And because if a busy schedule I constantly have if I don’t do this at least a bit then I wouldn’t get any posts out at all. I’d most likely just not bother and drop everything. I actually already started doing this for the month of March and I feel super accomplished and proud of myself.

Third Goal: Promoting

Okay, so this one I really got to work on lol. Honestly I don’t always got time to promote my content the way I want to.or at least how long. This year every month I want to really invest my time into networking and promoting my blog posts. I have realized I am not going to get where I want or the views I want if you don’t invest your time into marketing. It plays a huge role on being a blogger and I want to accomplish something towards my blog for 2020. Even if I have to try different methods I will.

Fourth Goal: Social Media

Social media, well to me kinda goals hand in hand with promoting. I know I already have to work on at least posting once a day if I can. Neglecting social media pages will lead to unfollowers and less engagement. So far I have been sticking to my goal and I have been posting everyday or every other day. Being a mom it can be hard to get content out there for your Instagram depending what content you do and using my planning method it has helped so much! I have content planned for the next for days at least. If you haven’t been following me yet you can find my Instagram HERE.

These are my main goals for March I love to follow every month. It has helped me a lot when trying to get myself out there. Nothing is more frustrating then feeling like your in the same spot and haven’t been accomplishing anything but I decided to live by these. Thanks for reading today’s post if you haven’t got to read my last please do so you can find that post HERE. If you have any goals set for this month please share. Like, share and leave a comment.

Netflix Movies to watch on Valentines Day

Hey everyone, happy Valentine’s Day! And those who don’t celebrate happy Friday. I hope everyone is having a great week so far. This week has not been my greatest, it has been tiring and I cannot wait for the weekend. Me and my husband hate the Valentine’s Day crowd every year so we are actually going out on Sunday. So for today’s post, for a night in here are my Netflix movies for Valentine’s Day. I love these movies and can watch them over and over and also the ones my husband can tolerate lol. So without further ado let’s get started.

To all the boys I’ve loved before
To all the boys PS: I still love you
Letters to Juliet
Happily Ever After
Midnight Sun

This last movie is one one of my favourites, sadly it is not on Netflix but you can look it up!

Everything, Everything

And there you have it! Six of my romantic favourites. I can literally watch these movies more than once and not get bored. I fell in love with each of these movies once I watched them. And hopefully you do too or at least one of them lol. Thanks for reading today’s blog post. What are some of your romantic favourites? Let me know in the comments. Please share, like and leave a comment. And if you haven’t read my last post you can find that HERE.

New Year Goals

Hey everyone, welcome back to another blog post and my first post of 2020. I just would like to say happy new year to everyone. I hope you all had a great start to the new year and I hope you accomplish all your goals. For this year i am setting goals for myself and hopefully sticking to it. I wanted to share my list and talk about some goals I wanted to achieve for this year. I have done a couple posts in the past on different goals I’ve wanted to achieve. If you haven’t read any you can find these posts on my blog site. You can type in the search bar “goals”.

  • Gain traffic
  • Sticking to schedules
  • Staying up to date on social media posts
  • Pinterest
  • Improving my skills
Gain Traffic

Let’s face it, for some of us bloggers coming up with a marketing strategy for traffic comes easy. And for some (like me) becomes difficult. This year I’ve decided to put in more time on my blog when it comes to Pinterest and work harder in driving traffic to my page.

Sticking to schedule

One thing I really want to do, that’s always at the top of my list is sticking to my consistent schedule. Now I know I can’t get mad if I trail off. Being a mom of two a wife and a blogger is a hectic schedule. Sometimes my kids schedule just don’t fall in place with my blog schedule and posts go un typed or unscheduled. But this year I want maybe a little less of that. I want to stay consistent and organized, plan posts ahead type some up ahead so I can get more content out there. So far into 2020 I have not started this goal but here I am trying.

Staying up to date with social media

This goal kinda goes hand and hand with my goal of staying consistent. I feel like if everything isn’t staying consistent and am not posting then I won’t reach my amount of traffic I want. The most social media platform I usually fall off on random days are twitter. And this is because with Twitter you have to sit and read tweets and take time out your day to tweet. As a busy mom I don’t get much time to do this so I don’t bother to go on everyday. And for Instagram it’s the lack of finding what I want to post. Staying consistent with my colour feed making sure what I want to post goes with my feed. And to be honest it’s all hard lol.

Pinterest

Pinterest, the number one social media platform that every blogger is using. Also if you don’t have me yet on Pinterest please add me HERE. Now I am always trying to find time to piñon Pinterest. I love going on there for fashion inspiration or hairstyles for my girls, whenever I can grab my iPad am always pinning. But that hard thing is finding the right time to pin my content. Or even making the right blog graphics, and making sure you got a great photo. This year I want to actually sit and start making my Pinterest strategy. I never actually took the time to create one it was more when I got the time I’d just pin. But what are some strategies that worked for you all? Please let me know in the comments.

Improving Skills

I am always trying to improve my photography skills. Especially for Instagram or even if it is for any blog content. People are always attracted to a good photo. I have came a long way with this, at the start of my blog career my photos were pretty awful on my blog. But along the way I learned how to improve my skills. But hey that’s the way we can learn and get better. I really want to improve my Instagram content a lot and gain more engagement. Hopefully I can stick to it and actually do it this year.

Thanks everyone for reading today’s blog post. I hope some of my goals for this year helped you. What are some of your goals for this year? Please like, share and comment. I always love hearing your thoughts. Also if you haven’t read my latest posts please read HERE.

Spascriptions Review

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog page. Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and holiday. I will be putting out posts for the rest of December and 2019. For today’s post I wanted to do a review on spa subscriptions a facial brand. I got a few of the products sent to me awhile back and I wanted to try it out before I talk about it. If you would like to check out the brand you can find them HERE.

About Spascriptions

Nature and science combine for skincare solutions designed to target specific skincare needs.

Developed by an expert team of researchers and chemists, SPASCRIPTIONS combines advanced technology with high-quality ingredients for a skincare range that fits into your existing skincare routine.

Unmask your natural beauty.” – Spascriptions

I received the 3 pack face masks, it’s ideal for all skin types and the package contains 3 different types of masks. You can use each masks at a time or you can use all three to target different skin issues. These products are PH balanced and is hypo – allergenic. When you receive you package each comes with an applicator which is one of the things I loved about their products. This applicator helps you easily and quickly apply your mask mess free. Spascriptions also has a 15 minute facial therapy.

Spascriptions

15 Minute Facial Therapy
“ • Cleanse and dry the face
• Dip brush applicator into jar and scoop desired amount
• Spread evenly over the face, avoiding eyes and lips
• If applying more than one mask, wash brush between each mask application and repeat the above
• Relax for 15-minutes whilst the mask works its magic
• Gently rinse off remaining residue “ – Spascriptions

In my three package I received the silver mask which is the charcoal clay, a yellow royal honey and a pink which helps with collagen. So far using their products I haven’t had any problem with them. The masks are great on my skin and they haven’t caused my skin to break out whatsoever. I love how they package their products with an applicator because it’s so easy to use that to apply the products mess free. I even have been using the applicator to apply my flow recipe sleeping mask. As for results i honestly haven’t been seeing a difference in my skin. But I hardly get or have issues with my skin it’s pretty close to a normal skin type so that could be why so I wouldn’t label the products for the “not use” drawer.

Therefore Spascriptions is a pretty affordable brand you can probably find it at your nearest pharmacy store. I overall feel like the brand is okay it’s adorable and their products work great. Also they are all for all ski types so if you would like to check them out link is attached. Thanks for everyone who read today’s post. I will be uploading another post for tomorrow so look out for that. Please like comment and share! I always love reading your comments. Also if you haven’t got to read my last post you can find that HERE. Until next post!
