Hey everyone, welcome back to my page. I hope you all had a great mothers day. I’ts so hard going through each week knowing your going to just be indoors almost all day. I am trying to accept the fact that maybe this whole year is going to just be different and its so hard to accept. From since this started its been really hard for me to get things done (social media wise). I have to try get what I need done while keeping my kids busy and i know a lot of other mommy’s are going through the same thing. May has just been a tough month. I wanted to do an review on a recent product I got the LANEIGE lip mask.
I have not been putting out posts because this month as been slow when debating what to write on. And I decided am not going to push nor stress about putting out posts. Also I have noticed for this month of May traffic has been slow.
For this post I wanted to talk about laneige lip mask. This lip mask is a leave on over night mask. It soothes and moisturises while you sleep for more smooth and plump lips. This product helps with dryness and for fine lips around the lip area. More info on the product ” If you want to know more… Lip Sleeping Mask has a softening balm texture that closely adheres to lips for quick absorption. Enriched with vitamin C and antioxidants, its Berry Mix Complex™ offers a nutritiously sweet and fragrant blend of raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, and blueberry extracts to indulge the senses. Its exclusive Moisture Wrap™ technology boasts hyaluronic acid and minerals to form a protective film over the lips to lock in moisture and active ingredients. A generous layer of this soothing mask at bedtime helps reduce flakiness so you can wake up to lips that feel refreshed, supple, and soft to the touch.” – LANEIGE “Sephora.com”
About the product
When buying this product it comes with an small applicator. You can use this applicator when applying the product. You can apply the product at nights right before bed or you can apply around the evening time and leave on overnight. This just allows the product to be on longer. Therefore in the morning you will gently then wipe off any excess amounts left on your lips and follow into your morning cleansing routine.
LANEIGE lip mask has a moisture wrap technology, this is a mineral network of moisture that wraps an eight hour time realise and locks in active ingredients. Also has a berry mix complex. This is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants and a mixture of different berries. This product actually carries a large amounts of ingredients, if you are interested in finding out what is in the product you can find it here ” LIST OF INGREDIENTS” . The product has different types of flavors you can chose from. There is original, vanilla, apple lime, grapefruit and sweet candy. I bought the flavor apple lime.
In conclusion my overall review of the product is i absolutely love the product. I got the flavor apple lime and I love the smell of it. Its not to overwhelming yet there is enough scent. I have been using the product for awhile now and my lips look ten times more better in the mornings.
And to be honest I am a huge lip bitter hence why I decided to give this product a try and it made my lips so much better. I do plan on buying more flavors. The product comes off as a smooth lip balm texture and once applied it looks like your wearing lip balm. When my lips are pretty bad I usually just apply this and leave it throughout the day. This can be used as a lip balm and as a mask because I love how instantly it soothes my lips and how it feels. I would suggest anyone with severe dry lips like me or who would even just want a more plump hydrated lip to try this product out. I will give it a ten out of ten and even buy more! Hey everyone, and welcome back. Its crazy to say but we are officially at the end of April! I find that insane because the other day I was saying that its crazy its April already but here we are going into May. New month for new goals to achieve. For today’s post I wanted to do my monthly wrap up for the month. And talk about my goals I achieved and plans for the month of May. Even tho I will talk about it in my May post.
Month of April
I can honestly say April was such a good month for me and my blog. I put in extra effort for promoting my posts and it paid off. The top goal I achieved this month was more views. It feels so good to finally reach where I wanted to be for the longest while. Its not much, some might find the amount of views not that much to be celebrated but every milestone is something to celebrate. I am hoping I break my milestone by tomorrow! One big change I noticed is that I have stopped rushing blog posts. I now put my time and effort into my topics and take more time to type them. I mean dont get me wrong my past posts were worth it but I always felt compelled to always be throwing a post out to catch up on my views for the month. Therefore I noticed some did not even get enough views.
Now that I slow down and think about what I want to write about and the popular topics that people will be looking about I have seen a change in my blog. One other thing I love that I did was change up my days and timing. Moving my upload to 3pm in the afternoon made a big change. I got more views from since doing that especially now during isolation.
To be honest I dont have much goals set for May. One goal id probably just want to set is achieving the same amount of views I did for the month of April. Still lining up post topics for through out the month to have to help upload for posts to my site. And in all honesty that is about it lol. I never want to set too much for myself. Especially with being indoors all day with kids and helping my oldest with online schooling I dont have time. And I wouldn’t want to set too much of goals for myself and I already know I wouldn’t do them. The best thing for is is slow and steady and its working! Its funny how you can discover things jut by doing them on accident.
I also did notice in April an increase of search engine results with a mixture of some from pinterest that is what more increased my views on my page. I am hoping I get even more in May.
And that is it for my monthly wrap up, I know its not much but I always still love to share what has happen during my months blogging and what I have been doing that may help someone who just started blogging. And I am so sorry if I may have repeated anything I am always trying to remember info I may have not told but I may have I dont know lol. I hope you all enjoyed today’s post and let me know what are your goals for your blog in the month of May. Also if you haven’t got to catch up with my past posts you can find them below. Hey everyone, welcome back. Happy Monday, I hope everyone had a great and relaxing weekend. I am happy I am getting these blog posts out for you all and am reaching my goals for my amount of views per month. Of course I am working harder to achieve more but am happy. For today’s post I wanted to talk about an product I just recently purchased. I have used it a couple times so far and I must say it’s kind of my new favourite product right now. We are going to talk about the Mario Badescu enzyme cleansing gel.
” For over half a century, Mario Badescu has been the name that transcends generations and spans the entire life-cycle of skin, combining cosmetic chemistry and aesthetic expertise to customize regimens for every skin type and concern imaginable. Simple and effective is our philosophy—which is why Mario Badescu is skin care for all.”– Mario
Mario Badescu cleansing gel is an light weight gel formula that is suitable for all skin types. This also helps with the skin concerns of oiliness, uneven texture of the skin and dullness. The two main ingredients in this product is grapefruit and papaya extract. These two ingredients help remove all excess oil in the skin and rejuvenate the skin. You can use this product twice a day morning or night I personally feel it all depends on your skin. You would dispense the product and massage in circular motions. Rinse product off with warm water and follow up with any of your Mario products or any other skincare products.
Review: Enzyme Cleansing Gel
Overall my initial thoughts about the product is over the moon. I absolutely love this product. In all honesty I think this is a first product I love in a long time especially within skincare. I pretty much think this is going to be my go to cleanser for awhile. First of all I love the smell of it ( I know weird). It does not really have a loving scent but I love it. Also I love how its a god size bottle for a reasonable selling price. It does not make my face feel super dry after using it. Right after spraying my toner I can honestly go throughout the day without a moisturiser. My face looks brighter and refreshed. And that is what I am looking for a product that does not dry out the skin and gives a brighter result and just makes your skin feel and look refreshed. I would recommend you trying this and id give it a 10 out of 10!
I hope my post and review help and gave you an outlook to try any or hell all of Mario products. After rating this product and trying it out I honestly want to go and try his other products. Its a steal without breaking my bank so why not? I hope you all enjoyed reading today’s post. Please like, share and leave a comment! Let me know if you’d tried this product and if you did how was it? Did you like it? Have you tried any of this brands product? Let me know! Also if you haven’t read any of my latest posts and looking to catch up you can find them below!
Hey everyone, welcome back. For today’s post I am going to do a Sephora unboxing. I have not done a haul in a long while. To be honest I haven’t ordered in a long time from Sephora. I just haven’t had time even to do my make up since giving birth to my second daughter. But I have decided I want to get back into my makeup. I also really want to get into doing makeup videos soon. And of course I will let you all know when I start.
This will be so different for me since am an introvert. But it can’t hurt to try something new and who knows I might end up loving it.
I got two products from Mario badescu. I am excited to try these out because I’ve been wanting to try his brand for awhile. But of course I didn’t get into buying it for the longest until now. I feel like am left out because I know so many people have tried his products already. Therefore I got his enzyme cleansing gel and his aloe cucumber facial spray.
The enzyme cleansing gel is a daily face wash that has papaya and grapefruit extract. This product is pretty much for all skin types also. This helps with oiliness, uneven texture and fullness of the skin. The papaya helps with the rejuvenation and refreshes the skin and grapefruit does the same also. But they helps remove the excess oil that is in the skin. And improve the complexion of your skin.
The facial spray I got is a aloe, green tea and cucumber. Anyone can use this product for their skin type. This product helps improve dryness in the skin and help wake your skin. The green tea in the product helps on antioxidant benefit. Cucumber replenishes and tones your skin and the peppermint drives a soothing feel. This brand also carries two more facial mists.
For the last and final product I got was the ordinary niacinamide 10% + zinc 1%. This product is for all skin types. It is a vitamin/mineral formula made for skin with blemishes. This product will work best for anyone with high amount of oiliness and also work for pores. But like i’ve stated it can work for all skin types, but if you are a oily skin type this product is a must in your skin care regimen. Niacinamide is a vitamin that reduce skin blemishes on the skin. It also balances the high levels of sebum.
In conclusion, and that is my sephora unboxing haul. Thank you to all who read today’s post. I hope I informed you on enough information if you are interested in buying any of these products. I will do an review after trying out the products for awhile. Please like, share and leave a comment! If you haven’t read my last few posts they will be below.
Hey everyone, welcome back. Happy Monday! These weeks have been going by quick for me. It’s crazy to think that for the fact we have been stuck in isolation for a few weeks now. I am beginning to find it hard to keep myself busy during the days or least find rest. I thought why not make a post on my daily routine during isolation.
Most my mornings start at around after 7am. That is usually the time my youngest daughter wakes up and my oldest. They still on that early school mornings schedule. I lay in bed with my youngest for awhile, scroll through social media for awhile before I get up. I love laying for a bit before I get up. To curve this over I drink a cup of water before I start my day.
I prepare breakfast. My oldest loves waffles usually sometimes eggs and my youngest has fruits and eggs. Forgot to mention in the mornings when my youngest gets up she does have a bottle while we relax in bed. So she usually is still hungry so she gets a plate of breakfast. While the kids eat while watching their programs I get ready and start my breakfast. I usually have either eggs or oatmeal and some fruit. While eating am usually watching a show or scrolling through my phone.
After breakfast the kids usually just watch tv. Since online school has started after breakfast my oldest starts her class work. This is usually a challenge throughout the day because my oldest has a very short attention span. She can be doing one task for hours. So pretty much through the afternoon am trying to get her to focus. My one year old usually gets occupied with her favourite movies and shows or just runs around the house. (I usually don’t do much as in learning yet with her she usually doesn’t stay and would just throw anything). So my oldest does this for awhile and by then my youngest gets ready to go down for her morning nap. This is around from 11 to 12:30pm she starts getting tired.
Usually my oldest can be still doing work or taking a break by then. When she does take her break I then allow her to just play for a bit. This is the time I do my blogging or anything else am trying to get done. My youngest naps for about an hour if a short nap or three hours or so if a long nap. But around this time the afternoon am not really doing much. Also I just want to make a disclaimer that since the quarantine started I have been at my mom and dads place. And since then I haven’t gone back home I’ve been staying with them. I just wanted to state that in case anyone wondering why am not really doing anything lol like if am a wife that does nothing.
By evening time it is usually down time around then for me. We all are not really doing anything by then. It is mostly time doing activities. From 12pm onwards it’s getting things done and coming up with activities to do.
This leads towards more in the evening. By around 6pm its usually dinner time. By then I get my kids dinner ready, I am then most likely eating by then too. After eating they both run around for a bit. By 7pm its ready to get ready for a bath. After my youngest takes a bath she ready to get ready for bed. She is always down by least 8pm to 9pm on good nights. On bad nights she could take up till 10pm to go down. My oldest is rough for going down at nights so she usually would knock out by 10pm the latest. And no I dont allow that on school nights her bedtime is 8:30pm.
And by that time its me time. I am always looking forward to this time throughout the day especially on tiring days. I mean don’t get me wrong I love spending time with my kids but this quarantine can get the best of us. But there you go my day during isolation. I am sorry if my day seems somewhat boring lol. This is a raw everyday routine from a mommy with two kids. Thank you all for reading. Please like, share and comment. And if you haven’t read my latest posts you can find them below.
